Kiltie The Kingmaker: The Ten Lessons of Bobby Jones's Teacher Stewart Maiden

In the 75th anniversary year of Bobby Jones' immortal Grand Slam, sportsmen the world over still marvel just how Jones did become the game's greatest champion. To be sure, this was a constellation of factors that lined up in perfect union resulting in a peerless golf swing, peerless determination to succeed, and peerless attitude toward the most difficult of all sporting games.

There is little question that Bobby Jones could never have won thirteen major titles and the Grand Slam without the tutelage of Stewart Maiden. Jones admitted this when he said, "The best luck I ever had in golf was when Stewart Maiden came from Carnoustie, Scotland, to be the professional at East Lake." Jones copied Maiden's unique style simply by watching Maiden play golf.

Because Maiden was a man of few words, today's students of the game have never been privileged to learn the golfing method Maiden taught to Jones until now. For the first time, this book unlocks that mystery by reproducing the Lost Lessons of Stewart Maiden.
