She is passionate about restorative practices in learning, creating stories that turnmistakes into opportunities for empathy, problem-solving, and repairing relationships. Herpicture books give children the language and tools to navigate conflict, repair harm, and buildbelonging. These books help young readers develop essential life skills as they navigatereal-world challenges. Dr. Daly holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and researchesrestorative practices in PreK-12 settings. She lives in a Chicago suburb with her husband, Andrew, their three children, and their dogs.
