A Kind of Insight

'A Kind of Insight' is not just a poetry book, it is definitely not a religious book and it is not really light reading. What kind of reading is it, then? It is a book that can bring you comfort and warmth in times of despair, when you cannot sleep, when you feel you have lost any hope, when you need peace and quiet, when you miss home, when you are not sure where you left your home, when you miss yourself... The book will not solve problems but the author will find a way to make you smile, one page or another:

Oana Andrei was born in Bârlad, Romania, during the communist regime, when practising religion was banned. She attended church with her great-grandmother, who raised her until the age of twelve. She studied mathematics and information technology but was also a passionate reader and started to write from a young age and published many poetry books in Romania. 
Oana Andrei continues her career in an analytical field while writing poetry is always her meditation, her comfort zone.
'A Kind of Insight' is the author's way of sharing with us some of the answers she'd been searching for when her family was going through very difficult times far away from home, in Canada.
