My King; or, Daily Thoughts for The King's Children

Lovely little book, just about right to match a prayer book. It has a soft black (leather/cloth?) cover with gold lettering and gold outline. The pages are gilt edged too. It has an inscription inside in ink, in beautiful old handwriting implying it was a present, dated March 16th 1894. There is also a tiny little photo of a little girl tucked just inside. On the inside back cover, in pencil, again in old style handwriting, someone has written what must have been their favourite passages, the first begins "Two are better than one.". Its a delightful object full of history.
