About this Item

Blue pictorial boards, designed and lettered in black on the spine and both covers. Frontispiece in colour, and many small drawings throughout the text. Very light edge wear, a nice clean copy in a somewhat worn pictorial dust jacket. piece from the upper spine, chips to edges and old tape marks to spine. This copy has an original colour drawing and accompanying poem by the author, on the second leaf, quite highly finished and attractive, signed in 1936. The children have adventures with Old King Kuriosity in Mother Goose Land. A very uncommon book.
