About the Author

R. Brian Mackey is the author of the Mouse Hamlet series of three children's picture books.

The story, Kings of East York, is a fictional and fictionalized work drawn from the author's imagination and his first novel.

Brian grew up on the working-class streets he so vividly describes in Kings of East York. Today, retired from the judiciary and living in Ottawa, he focuses on his love of writing.
