Danny could not believe that he was up for the murder of his own brother. He was an overweight, stuck-in-his-ways, illiterate guy with a selfish flair.

Suddenly he had time to reflect upon his own flaws. Prison was the perfect place to turn himself around.

Smuggled-in phones, hidden drugs in training shoes and some very close calls kept Danny on his feet. Friends who turned out to be addicts and two-faced liars were soon sidelined as he worked his way up the prison hierarchy.
