My Kitty Dog

My Kitty Dog written by Barbara Winningham tells the story of Miss Mooch, a playful and heart capturing cat that lives with her ever loving adopted family on Grand Street. While many people and animals live in this town, including a number of kitty cats that are constantly chased by dogs, Miss Mooch alone developed a unique bond with her human family. Miss Mooch not only found a family who loves her and takes good care of her but one that treats her as a family member. In return, Miss Mooch showers her adopted family with the love and care only a special kitty cat like her can give.

"Barbara Winningham and her husband, Jack, have parented seven children as well as taking on the roles of foster parents and host parents to various children in need and foreign exchange students. Barbara's eldest son, Bobby, passed away at the age of twelve, due to complications of Spina Bifida. Her stories are the products of the many children that have influenced her life, and in turn, were influenced by her."
