About the Author

Formerly the chief resident of orthopedics at Emory University, Garret serves as an assistant clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. For 12 years, her was the team surgeon for the Atlanta Falcons. Bob Reznik, M.B.A., is the co-author of Treat Your Back Without Surgery and editor of Back in Shape, both of which help people take a non-surgical approach to back problems. He has specialized in healthcare management, and is the president of Prizm Development, Inc., which has helped physician groups around the country develop quality-oriented centers of excellence.
