The author was born into a home where food was synonymous with love. Her mother was a great cook and started teaching Judith her skills at a very early age. Her father, who traveled the world for the better part of six months out of a year, had an amazing ability to describe in great detail, the wonderful foods he tasted in his travels. He would write to Judith describing a dish or meal he had experienced and she would try to duplicate it. This is where Judith's kitchen chemistry began. She began to create delicious dishes before she knew what a recipe was or that you even needed to follow one.
College took her from New Rochelle, NY to Boston, MA where she earned her BFA from Boston University in fine arts. After graduating she moved to New York City where she was exposed to all the great tastes of Chinatown, German Town, and Little Italy, not to mention some of the best restaurants in the country. She took those tastes home with her and embraced them. Her chosen career, catalog advertising, paid the bills but cooking was her first love. She found it to be great fun, great therapy and a source of great pleasure to those for whom she cooked. These meals ranged from a dinner for one to dinners for up to 150 guests.
As a confirmed foodie, the author was encouraged by family, friends, and business associates to create The Knights at the Round Table, to share her recipes. They also urged her to include some of the funny stories that had amused friends and family for years. This cookbook not only offers you delicious meals and treats but serves up a generous helping of laughter too!
