An accomplished college athlete in basketball and baseball, Doug completed a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in Business before returning to school for a Computer Science degree at the University of California and spending 30 years in software development at Hewlett Packard, Adobe, and Insight. His lifelong passion for storytelling led him to transition from the tech industry to focus on writing full-time. Originally from upstate New York, Doug currently divides his time between California and Arizona.
