Knot Far to Fall [Alternate Cover Edition]: A Slate City Omegaverse Novella

The whole world knows my name, but they can’t give me what I want. No one can. Until them.

Being a movie star isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but not everything is pretty dresses and wild parties. There’s the scrutiny, the rumors, the paparazzi screaming questions about private pain and public hopes. The constant questions about when I’m settling down.

They all think they know the real Eva May Williams.

But they don’t.

I want love, but now isn’t the time. My world is still reeling after tragedy, my twin sister is still trapped in her grief, and I’m still fighting to get out of the box I’ve been shoved into. I’ll happily take comfy nights alone in my pajamas, thank you very much.

That was before an award show where a packs’ scent made the world stand still. Before they told me I smell just as good, and we locked ourselves in a dressing room just to make sure. No NDA in the world will cover the amount of perfume I unleashed.

It’s only a matter of time until the whole world knows.

Everyone says it should be easy. Effortless. Just like breathing. I never believed them. Now that I’m in their arms? I know it’s true. Chance brought us together, but they made me believe. Turns out, when love and fate come calling, there’s knot far to fall.
