I Know My Guardian Angel Loves Me

I have had many jobs and titles over the past fifty years such as: counselor, babysitter, pet sitter, massage therapist, chiropractic assistant, court reporter, but my favorite is Mom. After over a decade of trying to conceive, I became pregnant with my son in early 2008. He was stillborn at 36 weeks. The Holy Spirit has been encouraging me to get this book out there to help other families with children who have a sibling in heaven. My other children were born in 2009 and 2013. When they were toddlers, we did a lot of reading and I could not find any books on this subject that we could relate to.

This book is written in a rhyming prayer like pattern similar to “I Know My Mommy Loves Me” type books for preschoolers. The repetitive message to all grieving families is that your angels are with you holding your hand. Just as your child knows Mommy loves them, they will know their guardian angel loves them also.

My hope is that this book helps families keep their loved ones place in the family sacred and leave a legacy in their memory by remembering them in various ways. There are so many “God winks” from our guardian angels in nature if we only open our hearts and eyes to see them. When a special person in your life has died, your relationship with them doesn’t end. Keep connecting with that loved one in a new way while also engaging in life as it is now. My long-term goal with this book is to get it to as many families as possible with surviving children so they can keep their guardian angels memory alive. Proceeds from the sale of this book will go towards purchasing cuddle cots for local hospitals to give families in this tragic situation, the gift of a little more time with their sweet baby.
