That I Might Know Him

OK, you are saved...now what? The Lord desires that we move on toward spiritual maturity – “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). In her Spiritual Food for Spiritual Growth series, Nancy Taylor Tate teaches from the scriptures about the most important matters of spiritual growth: developing a close personal relationship with God, and allowing Him to lead us into a victorious life by walking in His ways.

That I Might Know Him, the first book, is focused on building an intimate, loving, personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ – the core of a meaningful spiritual life. Growing in that relationship is our first priority. Day by day, as we learn to live in His presence, we are brought into an identification with who He is and with His purposes. The shift of focus from what we “do” to what we are “becoming” as we “do,” presents a meaningful and fruitful lifestyle filled with joy, expectation, hope, and purpose.

The second book of the Spiritual Food for Spiritual Growth series, Walking in His Ways, emphasizes living triumphantly as we learn His ways and walk in them. These books, written over a lifetime, express truths that changed Nancy’s life and the lives of others. Her heart-felt messages are uplifting and encouraging, inspiring us in our walk with the Lord.
