About this title

Synopsis

This book deals humorously with topics such as aging, deficient cooking skills, raising children, marriage, weight gain, and holidays, in chapters including "The Great Spandex Challenge," "Twinkies or Treadmills," "The Evolution of Underwear Throughout Marriage," "I'm Aging Like Fine . . . Baloney," "The Mayberry Zone," "What This Country Really Needs is a Southern Soap Opera," and "The 6,912,874-Second Summer." The author has been described by many of her readers as a cross between Erma Bombeck and Jeff Foxworthy. This book offers a lighthearted look at situations most of us deal with on a daily basis, and helps us to laugh as we see how the author handles them in her own inimitable fashion.

About the Author

Rebel Lowrey Covan is a resident of Pensacola, Florida, where she resides with her husband (a/k/a "That Poor, Poor Man"); two teenaged daughters; her mom; two retired racing Greyhounds; and the Chihuahua from Hell, Red Hot "Chili" Pepper.
