Our Knowledge of the External World as a Field for Scientific Method in Philosophy. London: George Allen & Unwin Ltd., 1926. Second edition, revised and reset; first printing of the revised edition. Originally published by The Open Court Publishing Company in 1914 and reissued by George Allen & Unwin in 1922. Original dark cloth with gilt lettering and rules to spine. Binding firm and secure. Cloth rubbed, with light staining and wear to extremities and fraying with some cloth loss at head of spine; corners rubbed. Binding firm and secure. Slight separation between several gatherings, which remain firmly held. A couple of small pencil annotations/pricing marks. Contents otherwise clean. Pages show ordinary age toning. No dust jacket. Again, this is the first printing of Russell's substantially revised and reset 1926 edition, rather than a later impression of the revised text.
