About the Author
Sue Brelade BA (hons), MA, Dip.Mgt, FIPD, AIL, works as a human resources consultant. She has gained wide-ranging experience in the practical application of training and development and HR working in industry sectors as diverse as central and local government, contracting, media, travel, financial services and with trade bodies. She has worked within the UK and across Europe where her multilingual skills to the design and delivery of human resources solutions has given her a reputation for understanding and meeting business needs. She is the author of a number of published articles in professional journals and co-author of 101 Tips for Trainers and Practical Training Strategies for the Future. Christopher Harmann BA (Hons), MA, MIPD, has considerable experience working at a senior and strategic level within organisations. A former Local Government Chief Officer and currently working within the television industry, he has extensive experience of Professional HR and strategic management. He has served on national committees and has been a professional adviser on HR issues for a major employer's organisation. His interest in wider social policy issues has led to involvement at board level with a number of charities and his work in the field of management development has gained national recognition. Chris is the author of various reports and published articles and is co-author of Practical Training Strategies for the Future.
