It was not long before Kai came to the Mossy Stones of Tippy Toe Creek...

This fun adventure takes the young reader up into the mountains on a very strange trail indeed!

Kai is a boy who loves adventures... "Great Big Adventures!" His life is typical of any young boy living near the mountains... that is until the day that Grandpa told him a wild tale of adventure and danger up on Knucklehead Mountain! It was not long before Kai and his brave dog Koda headed out to explore the wild trails heading to the top of Knucklehead Mountain!

With David Funk's overactive imagination coupled with Afsaneh Bagherloo's ability to capture his ideas in her illustrations, it is easy to remember just how far our own imaginations took us as we tramped about the hills, creeks, and woods as kids. Even though those great adventures are far behind, we can all enjoy bringing back some of those childhood memories as we read these imaginative stories.
