Kokoschka: Life and Work

Not dated hardcover (research indicates c. 1947-1949), sewn-bound in yellow cloth, with gilt lettering on spine (and with Faber & Faber name at bottom), is in GOOD condition, having slight possible impact injury to bottom right of front cover (or possible printing malfunction); also smaller but similar injury to top right back cover, and top of front cover near spine (see photo); slight rubbing/scuffing to covers; very slight slant to spine; both endpaper sections have the beginnings of cracking in the gutters; normal age-toning to interior pages. Dust jacket, enclosed in protective mylar (mylar not pictured), is in FAIR condition, having chipping to top and bottom spine and at folds; front flap with fold-over at bottom; slight creasing to jacket surface, with some rubbing/scuffing to surface; former owner has repaired a tear on reverse of back flap with magic tape. Nicely illustrated with color tipped-in plates, b&w plates, and printed on paper b&w drawings. Foreword by Herbert Read.
