Kompany The Making Of The Man

Vincent Kompany, the new head coach of Bayern Munich, is a man whose talent and leadership skills continue to impress the footballing world. He also has a statue honouring him outside Manchester City's Ethiad Stadium – a rare tribute earned for his total commitment to victory.

Never afraid to speak his mind, Kompany says what he believes will give him and his team the best chance of success. Utterly confident in his convictions, his words are expressed with an honesty and intellect that has earned him respect both as a world class player and, now, as an elite coach.

By speaking to those who shaped Vincent's life, the coaches that helped him develop into a truly world class talent, as well as the supporters of the clubs he has played for and managed, Frank Van De Winkel's excellent book helps us understand what made Kompany the man he has become and what drives him to succeed.

Kompany – The Making Of The Man – includes Vincent's remarkable move from Burnley to Bayern and is an essential read for all those fascinated by one of football's shining stars.
