Publisher's pictorial boards, very fine. Leningrad 1988. 8vo. 420 pp. Very richly illustrated, partly in colour. Text in Russian only. The Kronstadt Fortress (Gronshtadt) is an architectural and historical monument of the 18th-19th centuries in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Only the Northern Wall of the fortress, located in the center of Kronstadt along Vosstaniya Street, has survived in good condition.
