[1] 21 + 3 pp., replete with black-and-white images, writing on the artwork of Swiss-American Surrealist, Kurt Seligmann (1900-1962) from James Johnson Sweeney, Nicolas Calas, Marcel Duchamp, Jean Cassou, Katherine Kuh, Murdock Pemberton, Anatole Jakovski, Aline B. Saarinen, Parker Tyler, Edward Alden Jewell, Florence Stol, G. di San Lazzaro, and Catalogue. Published on the occasion of the exhibition of Kurt Seligmann's artwork from 1925 to 1960 at the D'Arcy Galleries in New York in 1960. From the writing by Anatole Jakovski: "There is no need for a compass in Seligmann's world. Nothing is more irreal, more fantastic, more ensconced in time where old perspectives disappear in the midst of forms so carefully modelled that one is tempted to caress them."
