Terms of Sale
Subject to availability of items and verification by Seller of correct price and condition. Seller may, in his sole discretion, refuse to sell any item to any prospective buyer. Seller shall have the right to determine mode of payment and delivery which is normally by United States Post Office, at the expense of buyer and which requires a street address, not a P.O. Box number. Payment in advance is may be required for first time clients. We accept cash, money order and checks in US funds drawn on a US Bank. Credit card orders (Visa and MasterCard) are processed through Abebooks secure server or through PayPal. Please be aware that personal checks will be held for 10 business days prior to shipping item. Insured return by Postal Mail, UPS, or Express Mail within five days of receipt at Buyer's expense. If returned goods are lost or damaged, Buyer shall have the responsability to file on and collect said Insurance proceeds as his sole remedy. If good and verifiable funds are not received within ten days, Seller may, at his option, declare transaction null and void. Personal checks must be approved by Seller and must have social security number and date of birth of Payor for verification of payment of funds at Payor's bank. Facsimile copies of items remain the sole property of Seller, and may not be re-copied, and facsimile copies of items will not be provided to prospective customers, unless Seller, in his sole discretion chooses to do so. After sale of an item, Seller reserves the unconditional right to retain and use facsimiles of sold items. Any sale shall be considered a California contract and subject only to the laws of and the Jurisdiction of the State of California. Seller reserves the right to refuse to sell to foreign purchasers outside the USA and to residents of the State of California. Michael Lynn Books in not an open store and only sells on the internet. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
