166 pgs. with index, plus 1 pg. period advertisement for "Chicago Nautical School". Very rare title burgandy HC book has silver font on fc, and is in GOOD + Shape. Wear and rubs to boards, corners, and spine ends. Font is still quite readable. Corners bumped, front gutter hinge starting to seperate, rear gutter hinge is open to binding but still holding. Page edges foxed, no foxing of any kind in textblock. No po names or marks, hinges tight, square, clean, with a mild musty odor. No DJ. Neat look at early 20th. century insurance information, color page of storm signal flags, navigation &signal aids, cpr instruction and illustrations, etc. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
