Large 8vo. pp. 37., mostly two pages pasted together, the remaining leaves are blank, some have been pasted together in preparation for the contact prints. Original cloth-backed boards. Includes 18 pp. of contact prints from Bay Theatre & Portrait Photography, 14 Kent Avenue W.13 accompanied by handwritten details on the facing page. The minor actors photographed include Reginald Jessup, Margaret Chisholm, Virginia Snyders, George Hall and Michael Morgan, Clare Jeffery, Sandra Stewart, Anne Askew, Murray Gilmore, Priscilla Morgan, Pamela Morgan and Ivo Joyce. There are also a few examples of a design course model for a production of Uncle Vanya. 5 black and white proof copies (10 x 8 cms) of portraits of Murray Gilmore loosely inserted. Stamped 'Copyright of Edward Meigh "Bay" 14 Kent Avenue, Ealing, London, W. 13' and handwritten 'Proof copy - please return' on reverse of each print. 7 prints (16 x 11.5 cms) loosely inserted, 6 of a Storybook Theatre production of the Magic Snuff-Box and one other taken backstage (edges cropped). 4 prints (21 x 16 cms) loosely inserted, 3 of a stage production, possibly a musical and one general shot (edges cropped) of several people/actors relaxing. Slightly rubbed at edges, lower joint very slightly split, otherwise very good.No date circa 1955. Light wear otherwise very good.…
