PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY. Paged as 1-42, [errata slip], 43-104, [2], 105-178, [2], 179-200 pages. Hardcover: H 23.25cm x L 14.25cm. Rebound in dark olive buckram cloth (1940s/50s?) with addition of new endpapers and flyleaves; lengthwise surface abrasion to spine cloth with chipped lower black date label and red title label missing; slight soiling to boards with slender surface abrasions at edges/margins. Small stains to toned text block edges. Bookplate of Lucius Bryan Dabney on front pastedown. Varied foxing/toning throughout but strongest to several initial and rear leaves. Binding is firm. Features: "Constitution of the United States" on pages 3-18 followed by "Organic Law" comprised of "An Act to Organize the Territories of Nebraska and Kansas" on pages 21-42, "Part First. Scarce territorial laws for the Nebraska Territory issued during the Civil War; OCLC locates copies at two member institutions.
