In the origin nap bindings. Quality paper, unlike many of the late Victorian sets that were mass printed. The works of Charles Dickens. Complete in 15 volumes. These are the original bindings. Set has generalized abrasions and scuffing. Set has obvious water damage to the spines. This is external cosmetic damage. If condition matters please do not buy this. These are not dated in the title pages. These bindings are typical late Victorian era. M any later sets were printed on cheap high acid paper. The paper is higher quality suggestive of 1870's or 1880's. Set is complete. The bindings are original. These measure approximately 7 inches tall. Leather supple. Set has a lot of water damage wear and some condition flaws. Still an extremely attractive rustic antiquarian display set where condition is not critical.
