About the Author
Josep Solves es profesor adjunto en el departamento de Comunicación e Información Periodística de la Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, en la que también es miembro del grupo de Investigación Nuevas Narrativas, Medios y Audiencias (NMA). Asímismo, dirige el Instituto de Investigación ODISEAS. Su labor investigadora se ha centrado en el estudio de la comunicación y la discapacidad, las enfermedades raras o las migraciones.
Antonio Miguel Bañón Hernández es catedrático de Lengua Española en la Universidad de Almería y miembro del Centro de Investigación en Comunicación y Sociedad (CySOC). Una de sus líneas prioritarias de investigación es el análisis del discurso sobre la salud y la enfermedad. En torno a este tema, ha publicado un centenar de trabajos en los que ha prestado una atención particular a las denominadas "enfermedades raras o poco frecuentes".
