Large quarto, two volumes. In Good condition. Fully bound in brown leather. Spine has been rebacked with gilt ornamentation and volume information, and minor wear overall. Boards have gilt ornamentation to edges, light plus rubbing wear, age toning, and chipping throughout. Light plus bumping to corners, resulting in exposed boards. Textblock has the bookplate of Frederick J.O. Montagu on the front pastedowns, light offsetting from the bookplate onto the first front free end page, and light plus age toning and foxing throughout. Volume 1 has a pen inscription from a previous owner on the half-title page, and part of the spine label laid in. Shelved in Room A.
