About this Item

Hurst & Blackett, London, 1905. First edition. This is a really very good set of the rare FIRST edition. Bound in red cloth with gilt lettering to the spines and black lettering and embossing to the front boards (indicating this as the Colonial edition). The boards show signs of marking and scuffing but are intact and very presentable and their bindings are very tight. The text blocks of both volumes are in very good condition with the only markings a previous owners inscription to each of the half title pages. All pages are intact and undamaged. This is a superb set. These are heavy books so extra postage may apply. Please enquire for an estimate. Scans available if required.
