Inprinted blue issue card cover, x+160+(4)(pub.notices), slipped in 4 pp. flier for Villat's Lecons sur l'Hydrodynamique and other works; colourless oval impressed 'Hommage' stamps top half-title & t.p., all edges browning as common in French books of this period and probably universal to all copies, uncut edges, internally clean, tight & unmarked otherwise; covers clean but browning to all edges and sp., rubbing & nicking to fr.outer & bottom edges with short split and sm. chip bottom edge, 3cms loss bottom sp., 3 cm.split top fr.joint. Copy probably still above average given fragile nature of this kind of binding.
