This magazine was published from 1883 to 1936 (not the later Life) The New Yorker later had a similar format and many of the artists. The name, Life, was bought by Henry Luce in 1936 for his magazine. This issue has one of the famous Gregor Duncan full-color cartoons of Pres. Franklin Roosevelt with Alice-in-Wonderland characters.
