Mostly photos; portraits, 14 x 10.5", pict tan boards, unpaginated. Covers have light wear/edge wear, spine rubbed and tips bumped else good to very good condition. An informal history of General Motors, showing portraits of their execs (and other "Self-Starters") as children and adults is Alfred P. Sloan, Jr.; Charles F. Kettering, Eddie Rickenbacker, Lawrence P. Fisher, Chris Sinsabaugh, other photos showing the progress of civilization in those thirty years (advent of highways, passenger airplanes, etc.). Nice front cover illus. of two women, one is dressed in the fashion of 1908 and the other in the fashion of 1938, each with the image of a popular car from that time period at their feet. SCARCE.
