19 b&w illustr (including frontis), 9.5 x 6.25. dark green cloth with gilt lettering, top edge gilt, 466 pp. Small stain on front cover, spine darkened, light spotting/scratches, front inner hinge starting, scattered foxing, uncut pages, roughly opened pages, offsetting from a "bookmark" else good. John Clay, 1851-1934, was a Scottish immigrant who arrived in Wyoming in the late 1870s. He managed and owned cattle ranches, started a chain of stockman's banks and the John Clay Livestock Commission Company.
