This SCARCE 207 pp. book is the 1920's PRISON VOLUME of the fascinating story of the author George Lewis Herr, who became the leading Prison Evangelist in the Nation. He ministered for 32 years (as of this printing) teaching criminals redemption and hope, with 18 former convicts becoming Ministers, after his help. He wrote many books, and this one, the 7th Edition, had sold over a half MILLION copies back in the 1920's, when this was printed (no Copyright Date). He used that money to further his ministry.
