Two OVERSIZED hardcover volumes without dust jackets, glossy durable black cloth covers with very bright and clear gilt lettering to front cover and spine;---First War (1990), viii + 404 pages; spine lightly creased, other tiny traces of shelf wear, but very gently used, tight in binding, pencil notation by prevous owner "this is a very rare and expensive book" (rare yes, expensive?, maybe then, not now, and to prove my point I have enclosed the original purchase invoice), ink signature dated "March 1991" on title page by that same owner (a Portuguese-Canadian ship model maker and published ship historian, book acquired from his estate), otherwise very clean and unmarked, overall in Very Good + condition;---Second War (1989), ix + 1053 pages; hardly a trace of shelf or reading wear, very gently used, tight in binding, very clean and unmarked throughout, Fine condition (this book also acquired from that same Portuguese-Canadian owner). PLEASE NOTE: I have listed this set twice reflecting the 2 different ISBNs, but I have just the ONE set for sale. S & H on this set is about a modest US$38.00 to the USA, and an affordable US$83.00 to the UK (about 65 quid in September 2018). For more interesting books from this same man, many in Portuguese, search our listings using the keyword Portuguese-Canadian. Seller Inventory # 039812
