Maroon cloth boards with gilt blocked titles to spine and front and black blocked image of locomotive to front board. 220 x 145 mm approx. 180 pp + 4p index + 13 pp of subject related commercial adverts - incl that to rear paste down. 37 figs in text, xvi plates + 3 fold out scale working drawings by H A Ivatt all as called for). 2nd Edition 1900 ( as 1st Edition but enhanced with further illustrations and descriptive notes). Very Good no dust jacket (Book- mild shelf wear to cloth- colour rubbing only, slight fading to spine-uneven same to boards, contents clean with no previous owner name or insc. Binding sound.
