80 pages plus covers. Magazine-style paperback: H 27.25cm x L 21.25cm. Paper covers rubbed with slight soiling; some scuffing at edges; impression of removed sticker at front cover's top right; address label (presumably that of the publisher) at rear cover's lower right. Front cover features color reproduction of Thomas Hart Benton's steamboat, Huck Finn, and Jim portion of his mural series "A Social History of the State of Missouri." Two small stains to fore-edge with a few leaves fractionally affected at margins; slight toning to margins of some leaves which are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. With b/w photographs and eleven maps. Text comprised of descriptions of towns and their tourism high points along the lower Mississippi for the states of Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. {Shelf-PB-Box90}.
