Printed cream covers with sl.marginal rubbing and chipping and dust traces, spine badly split with much loss exposing gatherings, mostly to front half, covers originally both detached, these now re-fixed and spine splits halted with 25 mm. archival transparent tear-repair tape, back covers actually quite clean but chipping at joint ends. The prelims are a memoire of Arnauld and main pp.1-342 are in fact a reprint of Arnauld's La Logique ou l'Art de Penser, with end notes.
