Between 1928 and 1948 Alfred Gover (1908-2001) was a whole-hearted fast bowler for Surrey and occasionally England. He then spent the next 40 years as a coach at his cricket "clinic" in south west London. At the time of this death, aged 93, he was the oldest living Test cricketer. Large 8vo. 218pp. 16 pages of photographs. Dust-wrapper, very good.
