8vo. A very handsome set of Tolkien's iconic Lord of the Rings series, in original dust jackets and slipcase. Octavo, 3 volumes. In Very Good condition with Very Good dust jackets. Spines black with yellow, pink, and purple and yellow titling to heads of spines. Mild shelfwear, primarily to edges of dust jackets. Small hole in Fellowship of the Ring jacket near title on spine, text unaffected. Housed in a Very Good black slipcase with paper label, top of box worn near edge with paper. Three maps present in rear, one per volume. Book Club Editions, with "0456" printed on box, with dimple and no price on jackets. Fellowship of the Ring states fifth printing. Two Towers and Return of the King state fourth Printings. Overall a lovely and desirable set.
