The Lord of the Rings 3 volume set, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion each housed seperately. This edition of The Lord of the Rings is limited to 1750 numbered copies of which this is 1580. Illustrated by Ingahild Grathmer and Eric Fraser. Housed in publisher's original goatskin leather slipcase. Quarter Wassa goatskin over hand-woven silk boards with gilt debossed particulars and decorations to spine; thin brown silk bookmarkers attched and intact. Light pencil markings to first few pages of The Fellowship of the Ring; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked; illustrations are bright. Text block is clean; top edge gilt with light shelf wear particularly to The Fellowship of the Ring. One spot of soiling to silk front board of The Silmarillion and The Two Towers; otherwise, boards are clean and bright; corners are bumped. The Silmarillion has light rubbing to leather at upper right corner of rear board. Full-leather matching slipcase with gilt particulars and decorations; rubbing to spine of The Lord of the Rings slipcase; light scuffing to rear board of The Silmarillion slipcase; light bumping to edges.…
