Second Edition. Eleventh, ninth and tenth impressions respectively. All three books published in 1978. The books are all in very good plus condition. Gift inscription to the front fly leaf of The Two Towers, otherwise the books are clean and free from any internal markings or previous owner's names. The maps at the rear of The Two Towers and The Return of The King are both in great condition, there is a 4cm tear to the map at the rear of The Fellowship of The Ring. The dust jackets are also in very good plus condition. The Fellowship of The Ring and The Return of The King are price clipped, with The Two Towers unclipped. The dust jackets generally show only light signs of wear, with a faded spine to The Two Towers and a 2cm tear to the head of the spine of the jacket on The Return of The King. Overall a very presentable set.
