THE LOST WORLD

Dangerous, mysterious and intriguing, this novel will take you on a thrilling adventure while offering comic relief every now and then. There’s a world beyond our world which only Professor Challenger believes in. Take this expedition with four men, the Professor, a heartbroken reporter, a colleague who wants to prove the Professor wrong and a man who would serve as their protector from the wild.
They travel through South America and find the vestiges of prehistoric creatures. The war between indigenous people and a vicious powerful tribe of ape-like beings gives an extra edge to intensify the otherwise dense plot.
This text was Arthur Conan Doyle’s step away from the series of Sherlock Holmes and it has now made its mark in the genre of science fiction. It has stood the test of time to be revisited beyond the temporal and spatial bounds.

"Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, renowned author born 22 May 1859, is primarily known for introducing the character of Sherlock Holmes to the world. He was also a physician-which explicitly helped him expand his literary horizons. Doyle trained as a doctor at The University of Edinburgh gaining his degree in 1881. He worked as a surgeon on a whaling boat and also as a medical officer ona steamer, after which he settled in Portsmouth on the English south coast and divided his timebetween medicine and writing."
