78 plates, 2 folding. 114 pages with text in French. Small folio, red leather-backed boards.Boston & Stuttgart: Medicina Rara, [1970]. Limited Edition -- number 357 of 2800 copies. A fine copy, but lacking the slipcase. Delpech, Professor of Surgery at Montpellier, published a comprehensive treatise on deformities of the bones and joints. Delpech did more than any other man toward the development of orthopaedics in France." GM 4315. Facsimile of the Paris, 1828 edition. Included is an introductory booklet, in English, which sums up the history of orthopedics in the 19th century, gives a brief biography of Delpech, and explains the content and significance of all the plates.
