Covers lighhtly soiled and edgeworn. Age toning to paper. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean and unmarked - of this scarce early twentieth century humorous issue. OCLC (No. 815942698) locates only one copy, worldwide, at Universitatsbibliothek Wurzburg in Germany. ~C~ Max and Alex Fischer are twentieth century French writers of Swiss origin, brothers who jointly wrote humorous stories. Max (Maxime Chevalier Elieser Abraham) Fischer (1880-1957) and Alex (Alex James Abraham Eliezer) Fischer (1881-1935) were the literary editors of Editions Flammarion in Paris.
