Three items from the Inter-Union Institute, a labor think tank founded in 1941 by J. B. S. Hardman (b. Jacob Benjamin Salutsky, 1882-1968) "to explore the relationship between intellectuals and the labor movement." Included is the inaugural issue of the organization's magazine, Labor and Nation, which was issued in two parts. Part two is an Inter-Union Institute Study Report on "Royalties, Taxes and Assessments: Industry-Paid and Union-Administered for Labor Welfare Benefits." The magazine continued under Hardman until 1953. Issues surface very sporadically. Both parts of Labor and Nation in stapled wrappers (7 ½" x 10 ½"), 32 p.; 14 p. Both Fine. Men and Climate is perfect-bound (6" x 9"), 95 p. Light wear to wrappers. …
