Lace II

This glittering best seller continues the saga begun in LACE, the story of world-famous movie star Lili and the four fascinating women who have shaped her life, but continue to keep from her the secret of her father's identity. They have all the wealth and beauty a woman could want--and yet, in this exciting new chapter of their lives, a lone madman threatens to end their story in tragedy. Haunted by men who long to possess her...urged on by a desperate need to uncover her past, Lili embarks on a new stage in her career, and a new affair with daring race-car driver Gregg Eagleton. And then, in exotic Istanbul, Lili is kidnapped. Tension builds to a dramatic climax when four different men receive ransom notes for $10 million, each address to "Daddy"--and the dark secret of Lili's birth is nearly exposed. Although feverish efforts are made to rescue her from certain death, it is the truth that Lili so desperately seeks that could ultimately destroy her.
