Lacrosse Transition: Play Faster than the Other Team Thinks

The Boyce Bros Academy(TM) Transition Academy teaches athletes that transition is far more than sprinting from one end of the field to the other-it is the art of recognizing opportunity before anyone else. Every change of possession creates a brief window where games can be won or lost, and the smartest players capitalize by making fast, disciplined decisions instead of rushed ones. Through lessons on recognizing numerical advantages, executing fast and slow breaks, mastering substitutions, communicating effectively, and flowing seamlessly into early offense or organized defense, athletes learn that elite transition is built on awareness, spacing, teamwork, and decision-making. The Academy emphasizes that the ball moves faster than any player, making communication, smart passing, and collective execution the true keys to controlling the pace of the game.
