Corazon N. De La Santa hails from Boac, Marinduque and Quezon City, Philippines. She is a trained teacher and was a Foreign Service Staff Officer for the Foreign Service of the Philippines. She attended the the University of Santo Tomas, the University of the Philippines, and American University in Washington DC. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland and does substitute teaching for the Montgomery County Public Schools.
